Our Story
At the heart of Central Ohio’s Jewish community lies Shalom Alliance of Central Ohio, born from a vision to cultivate a safe and inclusive space where diverse Jewish voices can come together in honest, heartfelt conversation, fostering unity within and beyond the Jewish community.
In 2024, a group came together with a shared commitment to shift from top-down programming to supporting community-led efforts that reflect shared Jewish values. With roots in grassroots action, our organization champions intimate, intentional gatherings—from table conversations to interfaith partnerships—that prioritize listening, relationship-building, and mutual support.
We believe that real change begins with connection—whether it’s around a campfire, in a garden, or across lines of difference. Guided by Torah, grounded in environmental responsibility, and inspired by our love for Am Yisrael, we are building a space where voices are heard, antisemitism is challenged, and community is cultivated—one meaningful moment at a time.
